How do we move around and interact with the world with more ease and less struggle?
One of the fundamental and most important aspects of HD is to do with Strategy.
Each type has its own way of being and interacting with the world – it’s own unique Aura and Strategy.
The Aura is how other people feel you and perceive you, and together with Strategy, it guides how you move around in life, attracting possibilities towards you.
Your Strategy, together with your authority, also guides you in making aligned decisions.
In this post I will be talking about the Strategy for the 5 different HD types. I will talk about Authority in the next post!
We all need to wait!
The common theme to all the types, is that all of us need to wait before taking action. This goes against all the common advice we are given, that we should all just do it and take action immediately to get anywhere in life.
The only Human Design type that can get away with initiating and just doing it, with any success, is the Manifestor. Every other type needs to wait for something that will indicate whether this is a good next step to take, or not.
Read on to see what your Strategy is depending on you type. If don’t know your type, then read this first!
Projector Strategy: Wait for recognition and invitation.
Your Projector Aura is deeply penetrating to others, you have this gift to see into other people’s energy and potential. You Aura says.. “Ask me; I know the answer and I’d love to share it with you.”
Before sharing your opinion, advice and wisdom, however, you need to wait to be recognised and invited to share it, otherwise you may be rejected and your wise words will fall on deaf ears.
With the big things in life, like friendships and relationships, career opportunities, and big decisions, you need to wait to be asked or invited before sharing this gift of guidance and direction.
You don’t have to accept every invitation however. You are not here to guide and manage everyone, only YOUR people, YOUR tribe. You only need to accept invitations that resonate with your values and self-worth.
Generator Strategy: Wait to respond to what life brings you
Unlike what you have probably been told to do most of your life, you are not designed to initiate and take action and just do it.
You need to wait for something to show up in your outer reality, and then accept it and take action, or reject it, depending on your Sacral Response – your gut feeling.
This response is based on how your body, your gut, feels about something. If it attracts you or excites you then it’s a yes, if it feels boring or draining, then it is a no.
This doesn’t mean you cannot have good ideas and intentions and goals, but you need to wait until the universe gives you a sign to respond to before deciding what to do about them.
You need to trust that life will come to you. Your magnetic aura is constantly bringing possibilities for you to respond to. You just need to trust that the right things will come to you at the right time, and be ready to respond to them!
Manifestor Strategy: To Inform before taking action
You are the only energy type that is here to initiate action! You only have to wait for your own internal creative spark that you need to follow and then you can get things started.
But wait!!!
Before you start anything, you do need to inform others of what you are going to do. This is not asking their permission, it is just informing!
Because your aura is quite repelling and impactful, by informing, you will prevent any resistance, and garner the support of others if needed.
If you don’t inform, you may ruffle some feathers, create confusion, struggle or defiance, and your ideas and projects will not have the support they need to become successful.
Reflector Strategy: Wait a lunar cycle
With all of your centres undefined, your only consistent energy is the lunar cycle.
The moon transits all the 64 gates in one lunar cycle, so you will experience all those energies within yourself, consistently every month.
Waiting a lunar cycle for any big decision or change in your life allows you to connect to nature’s cycles that are here to guide you.
During a lunar cycle you will experience all the energies of your truth, and gain clarity in what the best course of action is for you.
This doesn’t meant you need to wait a month to make every single decision in your life. With practice, you will eventually know how you feel about something within a week or two, depending on the bigness of the decision.
Manifesting Generator Strategy: Wait to respond to life, then visualise and inform
Your strategy is probably the most complex, a combination of the Generator and Manifestor strategy, with an added twist.
You first need to wait for something to show up in your outer reality, and then accept it and take action, or reject it, depending on your Sacral Response.
Before taking action, you also need to visualise what it will be like to go with this decision. Dip your toes in the water and Imagine how it would feel.
After this step you can always change your mind!
And because of your impactful aura, you also need to inform others before acting to prevent resistance and get support if needed.
